Our young explorers observed living things and their habitats around the school and at the beach. They created a butterfly pond to attract butterflies and built a bug hotel to welcome helpful insects into their garden! 🏝️🪵
Soon, they’ll be investigating the visitors to their bug hotel — all while learning through hands-on exploration, their favorite way to grow and discover at Hira School! 🌱🔍✨
🌱 From Farm to School – Learning That Grows! 🥬
As part of their Dhivehi lessons, students visited a local vegetable farm to explore farming practices. Back at school, they applied their learning by designing watering tools, making eco-friendly fertilizers, and maintaining their own greenhouse.
At Hira School, learning goes beyond the classroom – STEM is woven into every subject, inspiring students to think, create, and care. 🌿✨

Folding for Focus: Student Leaders Teach Life Skills
Our student leaders’ stepped up to guide the school community through cloth folding sessions – teaching more than just neatness. Flavors of Tradition
Students embraced culture and tradition as they enjoyed a variety of cultural foods, including the beloved ‘keyn’ – all while dressed in beautiful traditional attire. A celebration of heritage, flavors, and togetherness!
🎓✨ A Voice for the Voiceless ✨🎓
On behalf of all the graduates, two of our graduates took the stage with a heartfelt song dedicated to the people of Palestine. With only a few hours of practice, they beautifully carried the message of their fellow graduates – a call for every Muslim to raise their hands in Dua and stand in support. Their voices carried the emotions of an entire class, reminding us that even in moments of joy, we do not forget those who suffer.
