Founded in 2010 by Hira Foundation, Hira School, Addu City Hithadhoo, began as a small pre-school with a curriculum based on the National Curriculum of Maldives.

The aim of Hira School is to nurture generations of competent citizens who can face the challenges of the 21st century.


To provide high quality education in order to serve the needs of the modern world that encourages every student to realize his/her fullest potential without sacrificing Islamic values in caring, collaborative and supportive learning community who can face the challenges of the 21st century.


We want Hira School to be a school that nurtures generations of model citizens with academic excellence and Islamic values to succeed in this life and the Hereafter.


Hira School is following the National curriculum of Maldives. The school initiated implementing the curriculum since the establishment of the school in 2010 during its pilot stage. The school has gained recognition for the successful implementation of the new curriculum.
